这是基于中国·上海和挪威·卑尔根两个城市的文化交流而出版的一部诗歌合集，特邀7位卑尔根诗人与7位上海诗人献诗，把这两座位于欧亚大陆东西两端的城市用无形的诗歌连接在了一起。根据城市的气质，诗集被命名为“山海诗”，山代表了卑尔根，海代表了上海。

Mountain Ocean Poetry is a collection of poems published for the cultural exchanges between two cities, Shanghai, China, and Bergen, Norway. It features the work of seven poets from Bergen and seven counterparts from Shanghai, who have woven an invisible thread of verse between the two cities, situated at opposite ends of the Eurasian continent. The collection is named Mountain Ocean Poetry based on the features of two cities: the mountain represents Bergen, while the ocean represents Shanghai.

 

据此也设定了本书的设计概念：用绿色为山，山是卑尔根的“七大山”；用蓝色为海，海是上海东临的太平洋。卑尔根与上海相隔8313公里，山与海原本永世不相见，却在此刻对话。《山海诗》将两个土地上的诗人衔接了起来。山与海中间交界的细线，便是无边无垠的地平线。

The concept of book design mirrors this duality as well: Green symbolizes the mountains, which are Seven Mountains around Bergen; blue represents the sea, which is the Pacific Ocean to the east of Shanghai. Bergen and Shanghai are 8,313 kilometers apart, and the mountains and the sea, which were originally destined never to meet, are now in dialogue. Mountain Sea Poetry brings together the poets from these distant lands, with the thin line where the mountain meets the sea symbolizing the infinite horizon.

 

诗歌是纯粹而干净的，阅读诗歌时的感受也须是。内页“蓝”“绿”专色印刷，以轻盈纸张去保留这份纯真。诗人是浪漫而富于想象的，选用毛边的方法来处理书的天头，表达编排中天马行空的想象和随性不羁的意境。力求追随诗歌的感性思维，并将其赋予在理性的编排逻辑之中，通过纸张的个性、工艺的技术和装订的手法，与内容一起完成这样一部别致的诗歌合集。

Poetry is pure and clean, and the experience of reading it should be equally so. The inner pages are printed in shades of blue and green, using special inks, with lightweight paper preserving the sense of innocence. The poets, romantic and imaginative, are echoed in the book’s design through the use of deckled edges, giving a sense of boundless and free-spirited creativity. This design seeks to capture the emotional resonance of poetry while embedding it within a rational structure. Through the interplay of paper texture, printing techniques, and binding methods, this distinctive poetry collection is brought to life in harmony with its content.
