The book’s design exudes a strong flavor of traditional Chinese folk customs. Starting with a white book box, as it gradually opens, it reveals a colorful world filled with peach blossoms and willows, vividly bringing the festive atmosphere of Chinese New Year to life. The interior pages are printed on soft Xuan paper, providing a comforting reading experience. The number “60” is cleverly presented using traditional Chinese thread binding techniques. The cover is made of art paper with embossed printing, where the densely carved lines reveal glimpses of peach-colored paper beneath, creating a hazy beauty inspired by the woodblock printing process itself. Interspersed within the book are M-fold and accordion pages, with brightly colored paper embodying the “red and green” artistic feature characteristic of woodblock New Year prints.
